Copper Peak Ski Flying Jump
Copper Peak Adventure Ride
From late May to mid-October, visitors can ride the 800 foot chairlift to the base of the jump. An elevator is then available up to the 18th story of the structure. And, for those who aren't fearful of heights, an 8 story walk further up to the top will reward you with the greatest vista in the Midwest. From this observation deck you can see the Bayfield Peninsula, Apostle Islands Porcupine Mountains and Isle Royale. And, on a clear day, you can even glimpse Minnesota and Canada 100 miles across Lake Superior.
Snowmobile Hill Climb
"If you've got the guts, we've got the Hill"
Sanctioned by the Mid America Snowmobile Tournament of Expert Riders, the Copper Peak Hill Climb is an annual February event. Competitors attempt to navigate the steep hill at the base of the jump and make it to the 360 foot high summit. VIP spectator parking is available or you can bundle-up for general admission.
