The Bluffs Inn has direct trail #2 access off the rear of our property to get you on the trail fast.

Our large parking lots (each over 100' deep) offer plenty of room for trucks and trailers.

Daily (weekday) trail condition reports provided by our trail groomers are available in our lobby. They are also published online by the Western U.P. Convention & Visitor Bureau.

Trail maps are available in our lobby for $2 each. Funds collected from trail map sales are donated to our trail groomers.

Snowmobile rentals are available at Cloverland Motorsports in Ironwood and Northwoods Rental in Hurley.

Speed limit on our property is 5 mph.

Stay on plowed areas only.

Snowmobiles are not allowed directly in front of motel rooms. (There is plenty of parking available.)

If returning to your room after 10 pm, please park and turn off your snowmobile immediately.

No oil, gas, antifreeze, etc. permitted in motel rooms.

Weather permitting, snowmobile trails are open December 1st - March 31st. 

Our local groomers, the Gogebic Range Trail Authority, work hard year round to maintain and improve our trail system. Be sure to give them a wave "thank you" when you see them on the trails!

All snowmobiles operated in the State of Michigan must have a snowmobile trail permit. 2011/2012 trail permits are $45 each. Trail permits can be purchased at the following nearby locations: Pit Stop (Bessemer), BP (Bessemer), Citgo (Bessemer), Holiday  (Ironwood), Holiday (Wakefield). Permits can also be ordered from MSA in advance of your trip.
